Before lighting your candle

Place it on a flat, stable surface, away from drafts.

Check the length of the wick: it should be about 5 mm. If it is too long, cut it to avoid the flame being too high and black residue falling into the wax.

Keep your candle away from direct heat sources and sunlight. Soy wax, being natural, is sensitive to temperature fluctuations.
During combustion

Allow the wax to melt evenly over the entire surface before extinguishing the candle. This prevents hollows from forming and ensures an even burn.

Do not let your candle burn for more than 3 hours at a time to preserve its fragrance and the quality of the wax.
After use

Extinguish the flame carefully, ideally with a snuffer.

Re-center the wick while the wax is still warm so that it burns evenly the next time you use it.
